Minutes of Lakota Canyon Homeowners Association
Annual Meeting 1/25/2006

 

• Meeting was called to order by Executive Board President James Colombo @ 6 :25 P.M.
• Roll call of Executive Board: Present:
                                                        James Colombo- President
                                                        John Elmore- Vice President
                                                        David Myler- Secretary, Treasurer
• Mr. Colombo gave an overview of the Development, from inception in 2002 to present.  Topics included the number of lots sold, finished homes, occupied homes, homes under construction, and homes in the design review process. The success of the Golf Course was also reviewed
•  A revised budget was presented and discussed. It was noted that the Executive Board had decided to cancel the assessments for the 4th Quarter of 2005 that were dated September 28th 2005. Therefore there was no vote to ratify the budget but notice of another meeting within 60 days to ratify a new budget was noted. Homeowners that had paid the assessment would be credited for the First Quarter of 2006. Also noted was assessments would drop from $116.52 per  Quarter to $100 per Quarter.       
•  Snow Removal on private drives throughout the development was determined to be HOA responsibility.
• The executive board declined to use homeowners as volunteers to run the Master Association at the present time.
•  The Postmaster for the town of New Castle was responsible for the location of the mailboxes. They are to be located in the cul-de-sac at the end of Clubhouse Drive with delivery set to begin sometime in the first week of February.
• The Executive Board discussed the declarents intent to convey the Recreation Center to the HOA after completion. Design and use of rec center was discussed.
• Meeting was adjourned @ 7:15 P.M.
